Charles Edward Quiggins

Charles Edward Quiggins, age 73, of Stockton, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at home. He was born to loving parents, Clyde Quiggins Jr. and Clara Edna Grimes Quiggins on April 4, 1953, in Elizabeth Town, KY.

Charles loved hunting and fishing and cherished the time spent with his family. He was a wonderful cook who enjoyed preparing food for the community, bringing people together, and entertaining those around him. He found joy in the simple things and in making others feel welcome.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister and one sister-in-law.

Charles is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 52 years, Gladys Quiggins of Stockton, GA; sons, Charles Alvin Quiggins of Stockton, GA, Christopher Lee Quiggins of Stockton, GA, Anthony Dewayne Quiggins of Stockton, GA; grandchildren, Jacob Gage Quiggins, Riley Quiggins, Nicholas James Quiggins, Georgia Renae Quiggins and Jackson Lee Quiggins; great grandchildren, Waylan Christoper Moon, Grayson Lee Moon and Milikah Rodriques; brother, James Wendall Quiggins (Linda Diann) of Statenville, GA, Danny Peyton of Valdosta, GA an a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Per the family’s wishes, he will be cremated with a Memorial Service that will be announced at a later date.
