Of Valdosta, GA passed away Friday morning, January 9, 2015. He was born on November 30, 1953 in Los Angeles, CA to Felix Pate Russell of Seminole, TX and Norma Jean Scott Russell of Portland, OR. He and his son, Randall, owned and operated RR Custom Carts. He was fascinated by aircraft at an early age and enjoyed working as an aviation mechanic. He loved hunting, riding motorcycles, perfecting the family barbeque sauce recipe, and passing on his knowledge to those around him. His favorite pastime was spending time with his grandchildren, whom he loved dearly.
Along with his parents he is survived by: Son & Daughter-in-Law, Randall & Tiffany Russell of Valdosta, GA; Daughter, Heather Russell of Athens, GA; Two Grandchildren, Parker Russell & Isabella Russell; Brother, Norman Russell of Portland, Oregon; Two Sisters, Susan and Linda; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 12, 2015 at 11:00 am in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 11, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 7:00pm at the funeral home. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
