Of Lake Park, GA passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017 after a short illness. He was born December 30, 1933 to Clifford Raven Thompson and Katherine Leora (Clark) Thompson. Mr. Thompson served in the United States Airforce and worked as an Aircraft Electrician at Moody Air Force Base for years. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by a brother, James “Jimmy” Thompson.

Survivors include: Wife of 59 years, Kathleen Thompson of Lake Park GA; Daughter, Karen Thompson & Craig Solomon of Hahira, GA; Son & Daughter in law, Michael & Debbie Thompson of Riverview, FL; Grandchildren; Christopher (Jessica), Rachel, Megan, Cody, and Stephanie; Great Granddaughter; Emily; Sister & Brother in law, Martha & Paul Mabrey of Henderson, KY.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2017 in the chapel of the funeral home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
