Of Valdosta, Passed away late Sunday evening March 6, 2005 in South Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Carter was born in Valdosta to the late Hiram and Pearl Storey Carter and had lived here all of his life. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lommie Lou Lightsey Carter. Being a farmer all his life, he enjoyed the outdoors. When not working he would find his favorite fishing hole in Grand Bay. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Church of Christ.

Funeral Services were held Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at 2:00 P.M.
in the Valdosta chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in Hickory Grove Cemetery.
