Charlie S. Carter – 86

Of Lakeland, GA passed away Friday Nov. 5, 2004 in the Louis Smith Memorial Hospital in Lakeland after a lengthy illness. He was born in Clinch County, GA and had lived in Lakeland most of his life. He was a welder and plumber, and enjoyed fishing as a past time. He joined Camp Creek Missionary Baptist Church in 1939, was ordained a deacon Oct. 19, 1968. He was preceded in death by his wife’s Bertie and Alma, his daughter Marie Highsmith, a son William “Bill” Carter, and a Grandson Barry Darsey.

Harley Carter – Valdosta, GA

Funeral services were held at 11:00 A.M. Monday Nov. 8, 2004 in the Camp Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Clinch County with burial in the church cemetery.
