Charlie Edward Wiggins, Jr. 84
Of Lakeland passed away Thursday, August 4, 2005 at his residence after a short battle with Leukemia. He was born in Gates County, NC, but had lived most of his adult life in Lanier County. He served in WWII, retired from Southern Resin & Chemical Company after 331/2 years of service. He was a member of the Unity United Methodist Church and was a member of the Frosted Flakes. He was a loving father and grandfather, neighbor and friend. He loved gardening and shared his harvest with many. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Faye Fender Wiggins, his oldest grandson, Dewayne Gordon Register, Jr., three brothers and one sister.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 6, 2005 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services burial will follow in Fender Cemetery.
