Charlotte Heard Watson – 69

Of Valdosta passed away Saturday, April 9, 2011 at her residence after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born in Arabi, Georgia on November 2, 1941 to the late George and Mattie Lou King Oliver. She was a active member of Gateway Baptist Church working in various areas to include the special events coordinator. She was the owner and operator of Central Floral Company for over 42 years. She, Tom and her family enjoyed traveling to various places in the U.S. She loved to take camping trips with her family, and fishing. She was very proud of the fact that she walked her survivors walk in the 2010 Relay for life. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank C. Heard, daughter and unborn child, Ann Heard Neighbors and 2 brothers, Wayne Oliver and Ralph Oliver

Survivors Include: Husband of 16 years, Tom Watson, Valdosta, GA,: Daughter and Son-in-law, Angie and Alan Watson, Hahira, GA; Step-Son, Thomas Watson, Valdosta, GA; 4 Grandchildren: Aaron Watson and wife, Jade, Austin "Red" Watson, Cody Robinette and A.J. Lampert; Special Friends, Vanessa Gibbs and Family, Hahira, Ga, Jackie Beck, Fayetteville, GA and Jean Green, Valdosta, GA; Brother & Sister-in-law, James & Jo Oliver, Apopka, FL and a number of nieces and nephews

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 12, 2011 in the Gateway Baptist Church with burial following in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Watson will be placed in the church 1 hour prior to the service. Friends are invited to join the family at the funeral home between 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2011 to share condolences, or visit our website at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
