Christopher “Chris” Oswald Smith – 47 of Hahira, GA passed away on Wednesday October 7, 2020. He was born on September 24, 1973 in Valdosta. GA to Marilyn (Westmoreland) Smith and Oswald Smith, Jr. Chris was a wonderful father, son, and friend. He enjoyed playing video games, the guitar, watching drag races, and spending time with his son.
Chris is survived by his wife, Melinda Smith of Hahira, GA; Son, William “Will” Smith of Hahira, GA; Mother, Marilyn “Cheech” Smith of San Antonio, TX; Father and Step Mother, Oswald and Sandra Smith of Valdosta, GA; Brothers: James Smith (Eva) of San Antonio, TX, Alex Smith of Valdosta, GA; Sisters: Nicholle Smith of Valdosta, GA, Nathalie Smith of Valdosta, GA; Mother-in-law, Mavis Fender of Hahira, GA; Furry friend, Bully Ray; A number of nieces, nephews, and beloved coworkers.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday October 14, 2020 in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
