Of Valdosta passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021 in the South Georgia Medical Center. She was born in Hahira, Georgia on July 27, 1942 to the late Alan and Millie Marie (Peterson) Ratliff. She was a strong Christian woman who raised her children with the palms of her hands open to God. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Herbert Harvey and daughters, Rhonda Cavagnaro, Becky and Brenda Benavides.
Survivors include: Children, Elaine Russell (David), Walter Barnard (Tonya), Timmy Barnard, Tina Johnson (C.D.), Melissa Barnard; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 in the Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on December 7, 2021 at the funeral home. Kind words and expressions of sympathy can be left for the family at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
