Clarence Samuel Royal

July 26, 1918 — March 3, 2008

Of Lakeland, passed away Monday, March 3, 2008 at Louis Smith Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Berrien County to the late William Lonnie and Utha Mixon Royal. He served in the United States Army and was a truck driver for Roadway for several years. Upon retiring from Roadway he was a dispatcher for the Lanier County Sheriff's Office. He was a member of the Lakeland Church of God. He is preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 Thursday, March 6, 2008 at the Lakeland Church of God. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.He will lie in state one hour prior to service at the church. Burial will follow in Fender Cemetery.
