Claude Virgil Bennett – 66
Of Guthrie, OK formerly of Lakeland, GA passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was born in Dania, Fl on September 13, 1951 to the late Virgil & Mattie Ruth (Carver) Bennett. After serving in the United States Army and being deployed in Vietnam, Mr. Bennett worked and had retired from the construction industry after many years of service. He was of the Baptist faith. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Randy Bennett.
Survivors Include: Wife of 44 years Gloria Bennett of Guthrie, OK, Sons & Daughters-in-law, Tim Bennett of Ray City, GA Wesley & Michelle Bennett of Guthrie, OK, Kelly & Tessa Bennett of Edmond, OK, Tyler & Marcee Bennett of Bethany, OK, Grandchildren: Timothy “JR” Bennett, Zackery Bennett, Brandon Bennett, Madeline Bennett, Nathan Bennett, Hanna Bennett, Kelly Brandt Bennett, Caden Bennett and Annelyse Bennett. Great Granddaughter: Annabell Bennett, Sisters and Brother in law Linda & Harry Lokey of Ray City, GA, Corvene Weeks of Enigma, Virlene Gaskins of Nashville
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, April 23, 2018 Good Hope Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Mr. Bennett will be placed in the church 1 hour prior to the services.
