Of High Springs, passed away Sunday, May 14 2006 in the Veterans Medical Center in Lake City, FL. He was born in Norman Park, GA to the late William F. and Dora Jane Alderman Pope and had lived in High Springs, Fl for the last 30 years. Mr. Pope retired from the U.S. Air Force after 22 years of Service. He loved yard work, fishing, and was a member of the Church of Christ.

Visitation was held from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Gateway Forest Lawn Funeral Home 3596 South Highway 441, Lake City, FL 32056 on Wednesday, May 17, 2006.Funeral Services were held Thursday, May 18, 2006 at 4:00 P.M. in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. Burial followed in Sunset Hill Cemetery with full military honors.
