Connie James Simpson

Connie Simpson was born to Connie James to Anna Mea and Pete Earl James on February 10, 1954 in DeRidder Louisiana. Her life was filled with many experiences, adventures, and the love of her family. In her youth she played basketball and graduated from Rosepine High School of Rosepine Louisiana. Connie ofter enjoyed the company of her granddaughters, Maebea and Raivyn. She looked forward to long phone calls with both her children Wesley and Ashley Bailey, children of ex-husband Roger Bailey. She was called home during her final slumber around 3 am on December 3, 2015. She was married to Robert Simpson for 27 years. Robert gave her two step children, Robbie Simpson and Theresa Page. Theresa and Christopher Page gave her two step grandsons. She had several brother and sister in laws.

No services will be held, Connie will be cremated and will make her final journey back to her home state of Louisiana after Christmas. In lue of flowers donations are greatly appreciated in her name at Music Funeral home of Valdosta Georgia.
