Passed away Friday March 19, 2004 at his residence after a sudden illness. He was born and had lived in Lowndes County for all of his life. He was a graduate of Lowndes County High School in 1977. Mr. Melton worked as a painter for Jabon and Stone, Inc. He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis P. Sr. and Dorothy Flake Melton.
