Cyndie Pittman – 70
Of Valdosta, GA passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 suddenly at her home. She was born in Elizabeth City, NC on January 5, 1951 to the late Lucious Wayne Moon and Mary (Jones) Griekspoor. Cynthia was a veteran, having served in the United States Army and was a Civil Service Employee prior to her retirement. She enjoyed equestrian activities, volunteering at Jacob’s Ladder and the Florida Sheriff’s Boys Ranch, beading and painting. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Michael Moon.
Survivors include: Husband, Ben Pittman of Valdosta, GA;Sons, Mack Williams III and wife, Morgan Bouchart of Boernie, TX and Thomas Williams of Charlotte, NC; Step-children, Chad Pittman and wife, Tina of Valdosta, GA and Brian Pittman and wife, Donna of Panama City, FL; Brother, Allen Griekspoor and wife Carla of Buchanan. WV and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
A memorial service will be held on at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 24, 2021 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends one hour prior the service from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at the funeral home.
