Of Lakeland, Georgia passed away late Monday afternoon September 11, 2012 in the Louis Smith Memorial Hospital in Lakeland after a lengthy illness. She was born July 29, 1940 in Huddleston, Virginia to the late Bufford and Claira Dossie Stevens Witt. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Robert V. Plehn.
Her survivors include:
Daughter and Son-in-law: Michele and Dwayne Ayres of Jacksonville, FL;Sister: Claudine Hubineks of Avon Park, FL; Brother: Reecie Witt of Altavista, VA;
Cousin: Shelby Fileger of Deland, FL; Lifelong friends: Carol Stevens, Jim and Sylvia Cline; and
a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M Friday morning in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Lakeland. Music Funeral Services of Lakeland is serving the family.
