Of Hahira, GA passed away on July 8, 2017 at Regency Hospital in Macon, GA. He was born on July 4, 1958 in Warrensburg, MO to Lowell A. and Maryann (Handlovic) Young. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh. He was a big guy but with a bigger heart. He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his Wife of 38 years, Julie Young of Hahira, GA; Daughter, Shannon Young Carden of Valdosta, GA; Son & Daughter-in-Law, Josh and Amber Young of Hahira, GA; Grandchild, Grayson James Young of Hahira, GA; Brothers, Jeff & Tina Young of Hahira, GA,
Lowell Young of North Carolina; Sisters & Brother-in-Law, Lisa & Danny Higgins of North Carolina, Toni Taylor of New Mexico; And a number of nieces & nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 6:00 PM at the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until time of the service at the funeral home in Valdosta. Messages of sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
