Damian Amore Bevis, 21 months, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2026. He was born to his loving and devoted parents, Jayden Amari Bevis and Jocelyn Korin Furtado on November 2, 2024, in Tifton, GA.
Damian was a joyful, loving one-year-old little boy who brought happiness to everyone around him. He loved his juice boxes, and his favorite words were, "I love you." His bright, beautiful smile could light up any room and instantly make everyone's day better.
His favorite song was "The Wheels on the Bus," and he loved watching "The Backyardigans" and wearing his favorite Bluey shoes. Whether he was dancing to music, singing along to his favorite songs, or giggling at his favorite cartoons, Damian's happiness was contagious.
He especially loved spending time outdoors, exploring the world around him, and riding his little bike. Every moment with Damian was filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories.
He was preceded in death by great grandfather, Antonio Furtado; great grandfather, Fransisco Rivera Jr.; great grandmother, Maria Branquinho and great grandmother, Kerry Tierney.
Damian is survived by his loving parents, Jayden Bevis of Valdosta and Jocelyn Furtado of Valdosta; grandparents, Christina and Antonio Furtado of Valdosta, Julia Bevis and Joaquin Lebron of Jacksonville, FL; great grandparents, Rose Furtado of New Hampshire, Eileen Cunha of Salisbury Massachusetts, Manuel Cunha of Peabody Massachusetts, and Rebecca Bevis (Rupert) of Ashburn, GA; uncles and aunts, Jayce Lebron, Jayari Lebron, Jayvion Lebron, Sophia Lebron, Alanna Lebron, Luca Furtado, Elijah Furtado, Isaiah Furtado and Ethan Furtado; God parents, Kayla Tierney, Pamela Stewart and Dorian Clopton and numerous other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Friday, August 7, 2026, at the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. A visitation will be held from 2:00PM- 4:00PM at the funeral home on Friday, August 7, 2026. Kind words and expressions of sympathy can be left for the family at www.musicfuneralservices.com.
