Daniel “Dan” Goff – 51
Of Valdosta, GA passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at his residence. He was born on September 4, 1969 in Valdosta to the late Edison Lee Goff, Sr. and Ethel Elizabeth (Nobles) Goff. He was a proud Groundskeeper at Valdosta State University for 15 years. Along with his father, he is preceded in death by his 2 brothers, Edison Lee Goff, Jr. and John Glenn Goff, Sr.
Survivors include: Wife, Cathy L. Goff of Valdosta, GA; Mother, Ethel Elizabeth Goff of Valdosta, GA; Sister, Barbara Goff of Valdosta, GA; 6 Step-children: Demetrious (31) of Valdosta, GA, Derek (29) of Valdosta, GA, Sammie (27) of Valdosta, GA, Antwon (26) of Atlanta, GA, Anthony (26) of Valdosta, GA, Tierra (24) of Valdosta, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 19, 2020 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Pastor Justin Atchison will be officiating the service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, December 18, 2020 at the funeral home.
