Daniel Luther Miley – 80
Of Hahira, GA passed away on Wednesday October 16, 2019 at Tallahassee National Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born on January 7, 1939 in Hahira, GA to the late Berry James and Lillian (Daniels) Miley. Daniel loved to golf, hunt, and fish. He was also known to hang out at the barber shop and talk to people! Daniel was retired from Southern Bell. Along with his parents, Daniel is preceded in death by his wife Martha Folsom Miley, daughter Kim Holcombe, and sister Barbara Jean Miley.
Daniel is survived by his two sons: Joey (Edna J.) Miley of Hahira, GA, Jimmy Miley of Hahira, GA; Grandchildren: Daniel Redmond Holcombe, Caroline Olivia Miley, Bryant James Miley, Madison Brook Miley, Miley Claire Miley; and a number of nieces and nephews.
As per Daniel’s wishes, he is to be cremated and services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to The Langdale Hospice House, 2263 Pineview Dr, Valdosta, GA 31602, in honor of Mr. Daniel Miley. The Miley family is being cared for by the caring and professional staff of Music Funeral Services, Valdosta.
