His memory lives on through his, Wife of 38 years, Linda Smith, Valdosta, GA; Sons & Daughter-in-law, Jeffery & Emily Smith, Ray City, GA, Jody Eric Smith, Valdosta, GA; Grandchildren Kimberly Smith, Danny Colt Smith, Robert Nelson, Marvalene Nelson, Eric Anderson, Jeffery Scott Smith, Jr., Savannah Nichole Smith; Sister, Edith Nixon, Cairo, GA; Brothers & Sister-in-law, Johnny & Pam Smith, Princeton, Louisiana, Tommy Smith, Whigham, GA; A number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, October 3, 2011 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with Pastor Brett Jarriel and Pastor Brent Welch officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Monday prior to service at the funeral home.
