Darcie Sue Moore, 55, of Lake Park, Georgia, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, June 5, 2025. Born on April 21, 1970, in Greeley, Colorado, she was the beloved daughter of the late Reginald Carl Parsons and Carole Irene (Smith) Parsons.
Darcie dedicated her life to serving others, both professionally and personally. She began her career as an officer with the Arizona Department of Corrections, where she courageously upheld justice and safety with strength, integrity, and compassion. Her desire to help those in need led her to work with Southwest Behavioral, where she played a vital role in the rehabilitation and support of individuals struggling with mental health and addiction. Later, she continued her work in care and advocacy as a Residential Manager with Normal Life of Georgia, offering support and guidance to adults with disabilities. In every role, Darcie’s empathy, resilience, and deep kindness left a lasting mark on everyone she served.
Beyond her career, Darcie was a gifted musician who found profound joy in playing both the piano and the violin. Her music was a source of comfort and inspiration, and her talent brought light and beauty into the lives of many.
She will be remembered for her compassionate spirit, unwavering dedication to helping others, and the quiet grace with which she lived her life.
Darcie is survived by her children: Elizabeth Moore of Adel, Georgia; Nicolas Moore of Lake Park, Georgia; and Nathan Moore of Adel, Georgia; grandchildren: Vincent Vega Ramirez, Violet Porter, Nevaeh Weldon, Serenity Weldon, Sebastian Finch, and Arlo Finch; her brother, Clayton Parsons of Kentucky; her boyfriend, Angel Estrella of Arizona; and numerous other family members and friends.
As per her wishes, she will be cremated and later laid to rest in her family plot in Colorado, where she will be reunited with her mother and father. Kind words and expressions of sympathy can be left for the family at
