Darren Nigel Long – 53

Of Valdosta, Georgia passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021 in the South Georgia Medical Center after a sudden illness. He was born on April 1, 1967 in Eufaula, Alabama to the late Ann Mildred (LeCroy) and George Cullen Long. He worked as a skilled painter for most of his life, most recently with Ryan Adams Painting. Darren will be remembered as a wonderful and loving husband, father, and friend. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his, Father-in-law, Fred Coons.

Survivors include his loving wife of 20 years, Brittney Long of Valdosta, Georgia; Children: Abbi Long of Valdosta, Georgia, Bella Long of Valdosta, Georgia, Cameron Barrett of Panama City, Florida, Chloe Webb of Hahira, Georgia; Siblings: Madolyn Hoff of Valdosta, Georgia, Marie Williams of Valdosta, Georgia, Teresa Kokel of Valdosta, Georgia, Donald Richardson of Valdosta, Georgia; Beloved Mother-in-law, Patricia Coons of Valdosta, Georgia; Numerous nieces and nephews; Special friends: Brian and Venus Conley, Ryan Adams, Dean Croy.
