Daryl Arthur Kiefer

Daryl Arthur Kiefer, age 72, of Lake Park, Georga, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2026. He was born to loving parents, Emory L. Kiefer and Doris A. Andrews Kiefer in Columbus, OH on August 3, 1954.

Daryl loved traveling with his wife, Pat. They were married for 35 long and wonderful years, and together they made countless memories traveling across the country. They often traveled by car, visiting family members and exploring new places along the way. Their travels took them throughout the South, including Georgia, Florida, Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, Tennessee, and North Carolina, as well as to the Northwest and Northeast. They explored Maine, Washington State, and even traveled into Canada. Daryl especially loved sightseeing and taking in the beauty of the places they visited. He enjoyed climbing lighthouses along the coast line.

Daryl also loved being outdoors. Whether he was hiking, camping, or simply working in the yard, he was happiest when he was outside, enjoying nature and staying active.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Mandy Painter, Karen Maynard and Cheryl Baker.

Daryl is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Pat Kiefer of Lake Park; children, Greg & Sheri Douglas of Baker, FL and Paula Lovejoy of Pheonix, AZ; grandchildren, Steven Lovejoy and Katie Lovejoy of Pheonix, AZ, Savanna Cornitcher of Crestview, FL, Amber Vega of Greenville, FL and Nichole Fazzone and a number of nieces, nephews, great grandchildren and extended family.

The family will be holding a memorial service at 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Lake Park Christian Church, Lake Park, GA.
