David Earl Gilbreth -72
Of Valdosta, Georgia passed away on May 26, 2024, peacefully at his home with his family by his side. He was born on December 15, 1951, in Eastman, Georgia to the late George Wesley Gilbreth and Margie Gilbreth. David earned his master’s degree in teaching and proceeded to teach biology at Ware County Highschool for 23 years, Clinch County High school for 2 years, Eagles Landing High School for 5 years, and Strong Rock Christian Academy for 4 years. David was known for his ability to always make people laugh and uplift their spirits. He loved his family, cooking, teaching biology, and taking naps with his dog, Sunshine. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Johnny Gilbreth.
Survivors include his wife, Andrea Gilbreth; daughter, Molly Steedley(Henry) of Homerville, Georgia; daughter Laura Lee Gilbreth of Valdosta, Georgia; grandchildren Sam Steedley, Jackson Steedley, Cash Gilbreth, Kinslee Steedley; brother Robert Gilbreth (Marcia) of Greensboro, Georgia; brother Bobby Gilbreth of Winter Haven, Florida; sister Lois Tanner (John) of Tifton Georgia; sister Charlene West of Winter Haven, Florida; sister Mary Sue Gilbreth of Homerville, Georgia; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, May 29, 2024, in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Long Bridge Cemetery in Nashville, Georgia.
