David Wayne Hoskins Jr.

David Hoskins Jr.- 46 of Hahira, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at South Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was born on February 16, 1978, in Bainbridge, Georgia to Tassy Bush and David Wayne Hoskins Sr. David loved playing football for the Lowndes High Vikings, golfing, and fishing. One of his best characteristics was his humor. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Erma Ralph Bush and Alice Lee Bush; paternal grandparents: Roy Hoskins and Elizabeth Hoskins; first cousins: Anthony Bush, Amy Bush; uncle, Tony Ralph Bush.
Survivors include his mother Tassy “Bush” Baggett of Hahira, Georgia; father, David Hoskins Sr. (Pam) of Donalsonville, Georgia; daughters: Danielle Hoskins (George Roberson) of Denver, Colorado, Carly Hoskins of Valdosta, Georgia, Natalie Hoskins of Hahira, Georgia, Journey Hoskins of Valdosta, Georgia; grandchildren: Braiden Robinson of Valdosta, Georgia, Mylan Robinson of Valdosta, Georgia; uncle, Robert Bush of Hahira, Georgia; aunt, Deborah McConnell (Gene) of Bainbridge, Georgia; sisters: Angela Baggett (Jennifer) of Hahira, Georgia, Ginger Hoskins of Donalsonville, Georgia; brothers: Leonard Hoskins of Brinson, Georgia, Bobby Hoskins (Cathe) of Pelham, Georgia; life long friend: Christina Exum of Quitman, GA; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, April 15, 2024, in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
