David Leon John Garner – 51
Of Lake Park, Georgia passed away on February 17, 2021 at his residence. David was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 28,1969 to Alford and Susan (Goltz) Garner. David was a light to many people’s lives that unfortunately burned out way to soon. Anybody that met David loved him, he had a smile that would warm your heart. We are thankful for the memories that he gifted us with, that will strengthen us to go through the struggles without him. Through life and death, he has forever changed us for the better.
David is preceded in death by both his parents, his grandparents Helen and Earl Goltz, Ruth and William Klinger, and grandfather Audley Garner.
Survivors include his sister, Alisa Garner; brother, Scott Garner and wife Pam; sister, Jennifer Messner and husband Kevin; uncle, Jeff Goltz; nieces and nephews: Megan and Mitchell, Zack, Avery, Makayla, several cousins, many friends, and David’s sweet dog Abby.
Per the family’s wishes, David will be cremated and no formal services will be held. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com . The Garner family is being served by the professional and caring staff of Music Funeral Services, Valdosta.
