David Carroll Marlowe, age 65, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. He was born on October 31, 1959, in Tallahassee, Florida to late parents, Betty Ruth McKenzie Marlowe and Woodson Riley Marlowe.
He honorably served in the United States Army for three years as a proud member of the 554th Military Police Headquarters, U.S. Military Command Europe. His dedication to service reflected his deep sense of duty and integrity. Following his military career, he worked for many years as a salesman with Lee Office Equipment Company, where he was known for his professionalism and strong work ethic.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Karen Marlowe; sons, Nicholas Adam Marlowe (Laurie) of Jackson, GA and Andrew Scott Marlowe (Julie) of Marlton, NJ; grandchildren: John David Marlowe, Charleston “Charleigh” Alexander, Amelia Lorraine Marlowe, Jaxon Scott Marlowe, Kyler Jase Oates, Kennedy Cannon Oates and Katelyn Wendy Oates.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at 11:00am in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 11:00am, at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32205.
