David C. Roberts – 53
Of Valdosta passed away Friday, April 9, 2010 in Tifton, Ga from an apparent heart attack. He was born in Germany on June 9, 1956 to William Roberts of Melbourne, Fl and the late Catherine Roberts. David was a wonderful father, grandfather and friend. He was always willing to help out. He enjoyed reading, family, his freedom and exploring nature's wonders. Family time was important especially taking vacations with his children and grandchildren. David served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked alongside his friends at Velocity Express for 16 years. Along with his mother he was preceded in death by his wife, Lynn Roberts, Granddaughter, Skye Thompson, Brother, Brian Roberts and his dog, Jake.
Survivors Include: 2 Sons & Daughter-in-law, Charlie & Julie Roberts, Valdosta, Ga, Robert Anderson, Valdosta, Ga; 3 Daughters, Angel Anderson, Brunswick, Ga, Teara Daigle, Kingsland, Ga, Emily Thomas, Jacksonville, Fl; Grandchildren: Devin, Sydney, Saira, Juan, Heaven, Seth and Brianna; Father, William "Bill" Roberts, Melborne, FL; Brother and Sister-in-law, Craig & Mattie Roberts, Waycross, Ga; Sister-in-law, Margaret Roberts, Lake City, FL and a number of nieces and nephews.
