Of Valdosta passed away Monday, February 3, 2014 at his residence. He was born January 18, 1964 in Las Vegas, NV to William C. "Bill", Jr. and Frances Steel of Valdosta. He loved bowling and playing video games. He always said "He would never grow up". He began his life long career with NAPA over 25 years ago.
Along with his parents he was survived by: Wife of 26 years, Joanna Steel, Valdosta; 2 Step Sons: Greg Almarez, Arizona, Robert Sisto, Jr., Las Vegas; Grandson, Donavon Almarez, Las Vegas; 4 Sisters & Brothers-in-law: Dianne & Stefan Ivanov, Las Vegas, Beth Meisticle, Buford, GA, Pam DeMott, Honduras, Kim & Jerry Newman, Valdosta; 3 Brothers & Sisters-in-law, Chuck & Susan Steel, Valdosta, Jeff Steel, Fernandina Beach, FL, Glenn & Carla Steel, Adel, GA; Sister-in-law & Brother-in-law, Edna & Michael Fried, Valdosta and Nephew, Brian Gonzales along with many other special nephews & nieces
As per his wishes he will be cremated and a celebration of David's life will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, February 6, 2014 at The Loft above City Market in Downtown Valdosta, 101 N. Patterson St., Valdosta, GA with a special time of sharing at 7:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Humane Society of Valdosta/Lowndes Co, 307 E. Jane St., Valdosta, GA 31601.
