Dawn Elizabeth Smith, 71 of Valdosta, GA, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2026, at the Langdale Hospice House. Dawn was born to the late Earle Talmadge and Betty Jane Smith in Valdosta, GA on November 23, 1954. She worked for K Mart and later in communications office personnel for Mediacom.
She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Joe Rodgers of Valdosta, GA.
Per her wishes, she is to be cremated and her remains buried at Riverview Memorial Gardens, alongside her parents, with no formal services provided. Kind words of sympathy can be left for the Smith family by visiting www.musicfuneralservices.com
