Of Hinesville, GA passed away Friday, September 25, 2015 at her home surrounded by family and under the care of Hospice after a brief battle with cancer. She was born on September 21, 1953 in Hahira, GA to the late Robert G. Dampier and Opal Jackson Foster. She worked as a civil service employee for over 25 years and retired in 1997. She grew up in Lakeland, GA but moved to Hinesville, GA and lived there for the past 32 years.
Survivors Include: Husband of 45 years, Donnie Singletary of Hinesville, GA; Son & Daughter-in-law, Timothy "Nathan" Singletary Emily of Ludowici, GA; Daughter, Connie Kersey of Charleston, SC; 4 Grandchildren: Timothy "Nathan" Singletary, Jr of Ludowici, GA; Caitlyn Joy Anderson "CJ" of Columbia, SC; Haley Gunter of Ludowici, GA; Shyan Gunter of Ludowici, GA
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00PM Sunday, September 27, 2015 in the Lakeland chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00PM until 3:00PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society.
