Of Hahira, GA, passed away at his residence after a lengthy illness on Saturday, May 4, 2019. Mr. Bass was born on July 1, 1957 in Hahira, GA to the late David Bass and Julia (Watson) Bass of Hahira, GA. Dennis worked as a farmhand for Millirons Farms of Hahira. Along with his father he was preceded in death by his niece, Jillian Guess.
Survivors include: Son: David Bass of Germany; Daughter: Vanessa Bass of Germany; Mother: Julia (Watson) Bass of Hahira; Sister: Diane Guess of Hahira; Brother and Sister-in-law: Sam and Belinda Bass of Valdosta, GA; Sister and Brother-in-law: Sylvia and Danny Pinson of West Virginia; Special Aunt: Liz Owens; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 7, 2019 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in Friendship Cemetery, Hahira.
