Dennis Carl Hoffman – 58

of Valdosta, GA passed away Friday, January 5, 2018 at South Georgia Medical Center due to heart failure. He was born on April 21, 1959 in Portola, California, to Michael Hoffman and Mary Wilson Cornell. Dennis served in the United States Army for four years. He later decided to move back to Valdosta to be closer to family. He was employed as a truck driver for EPES Transport System, Inc. Dennis loved Friday night bingo at the Knights of Columbus and spending time with his parents, Mary and Jon Cornell. He was a loving father, grandfather, son, uncle, and brother.
Dennis is survived by his son Patrick Hoffman from Alamagordo, New Mexico, his son and daughter-in-law, Elliott and Hyemi Hoffman stationed in South Korea, his daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Mark Glaser stationed in Italy, his six grandchildren: Nathan Hoffman, Blake Hoffman, Conner Hoffman, Jovani (George) Glaser, Jayden Glaser, and Isabella Glaser.
Dennis is also survived by his parents: Jon and Mary Cornell and Michael and Sharron Hoffman, sister and brother-in-law, Pamela and Dale Parker from Thonotosassa, FL; brother and sister-in-law, Barry and Julie Hoffman from Valdosta, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Rhonda Hoffman from Valdosta, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Joe Wylupek from Franklin, NC ; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Todd Allen from Dover, FL; sister and brother-in-law, Michelle and Kevin Wrobel from Lithia, FL; Aunt Betty Drier from Valdosta, GA; Aunt Dorothy Whitfield from Austin, Texas; Nieces and Nephews.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 12, 2018 at the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. Messages of sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
