Dennis “Mike” Stoops, 69
Of Valdosta passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2020 after an unexpected accident. Mike was born on July 10, 1951 to the late Robert W. Stoops and Louise Loraine Goulet in Brockton, MA. He was a simple man that dedicated 50 plus years to the truck driving industry and was a well known tow truck operator in the community. Mike enjoyed the outdoors, playing “the slots” and mostly, loving his “Little Fella and Mack”.
He is survived by four sisters; special family and friend, Larry and Charlene Dorminey of Valdosta, Renee and Justin Fielding of Valdosta and Charlotte Dorminey-Wisenbaker of Valdosta; special nephew, Gage “little fella” Fielding and special niece, Mckinsley “Mack” Fielding both of Valdosta.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Hickory Grove cemetery.
