Of Naylor passed away early Friday, December 9, 2016 morning at his residence after a lengthy illness. Mr. Roberts was born April 9, 1927 in Tifton, GA to the late Jessie & Willie Mae Benefield Roberts. Mr. Denver enjoyed farming and was considered a farming legend, and a true family man he loved to fish and coon hunt. Mr. Denver was a huge influence to many children and taught them many life lessons and work ethics that will never be forgotten. He was a member of Naylor Baptist Church. Along with his parents, Mr. Roberts is preceded in death by a Grandson, Zach Roberts, 7 Brothers and 2 Sisters.
Survivors include: Wife of 66 years, Louise Roberts, of Naylor, GA; Sons & Daughters-in-Law, Ricky & Vickie Roberts of Naylor, GA; Johnny & Marsha Roberts of Naylor, GA; David & Lisa Roberts of Homerville, GA; Jessie Roberts of Naylor, GA; Daughter & Son-in-Law, Patty & Marty Vedas; 14 Grandchildren, 29 Great grandchildren; Brother; Everett Roberts of Nashville, GA; A numerous Nieces, Nephews and extended family members.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 11, 2016 at 3:00P.M. in the Naylor Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Good Hope church cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00P.M. at the funeral home. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
