Of Valdosta passed away Sunday, November 9, 2008 at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 19, 1948 to the late Matthew & Alfrieda Podgorski Monko. When not at home with family or shopping on QVC they could find her at the Norman Drive Wal-Mart. She was a member of St. Victor's Catholic Church in Chicago, Illinois.
Survivors include:Daughter & Son-in-law, Kimberly & David Williams, Valdosta, GA, Grandchildren: Marco Marquez and Alyssa Williams
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 15, 2008 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
