Diane Hudson

Beverly Diane Hudson, age 65 of Morven, Georgia passed peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. Beverly, better known as “Diane” was born the eldest of five on June 28, 1960, to a young Mary Sinns and JP Hudson Buena Vista, GA.

Diane grew up working on the farm to help her mama to support her siblings, as JP passed while the children were young. While spending her teenage years in Polk country, FL, before moving to Miami, FL where she met and fell in love with Wayne Lippel. Although never legally married, they have spent the last 47 years together where they had 4 children, Jerrimy Hudson of Moultrie, Brandy Lippel of Valdosta, Kimberly Lippel Johnson of Pridgen, and Cory Lippel of Jacksonville, FL. Rasing them in Kissimmee, FL before moving to Valdosta, GA and more recently settling in Morven, GA where her health failed her. She was the proudest grandma to her 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She spent many years in the hospitality world, where she never failed to make a friend in a crowd full of strangers from all walks of life, where she made lifelong friends from FL, to Washington State all the way to Belgium and never failed to light up a room

She is preceded in death by her father, JP Hudson, stepdad, Dennis Dell and many aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her mother, Mary Dell; her better half, Wayne Lippel and her four kids, 13 grandchildren and five great grandchildren; she is also survived by two brothers, Roger and Rocky Hudson as well as two sisters, Jennifer Cardwell and Gail Dalton.

Services will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, February 28, 2026, in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends one hour prior.
