Of Bremen, Georgia passed away February 26, 2011 in the Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, Georgia after a lengthy illness. She was born November 22, 1944 to the late Dan and Harriett Hatcher Jacobs in Lanier County, Georgia. She was a homemaker and was a member of Pleasant Way Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her son, Michael Pound.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2011 in the Pleasant Way Baptist Church with burial in Empire Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, March 1, 2011 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
