He was a member of the Hahira United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his 2 brothers, Bobby Cooper, Hoover Cooper, sister, Christine Gray and a 2 brother-in-law, Perry Southall and William Gray.

Mr. Cooper is survived by his, Sons & Daughters-in-law, Wendell & Wanda Cooper, Valdosta, GA, Glenn & Ann Cooper, Valdosta, GA, Wayne & Bonnie Cooper, Valdosta, GA, Terry & Kathy Cooper, Hahira, GA; Grandchildren: Stacey, April, Amber, Dawn, Brad, Michelle, Allyson, Dale, Michael, Jordan & Lindsey; 13 Great Grandchildren; Sisters & Brothers-in-law, Mildred Southall, Valdosta, GA, Maxine & Bill Cullen, Valdosta, GA, Shirley & William Dame, Valdosta, GA, AnnaDean Wilson, Tallahassee, FL; A number of Nieces and Nephews

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 11, 2011 in the Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial to follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, January 10, 2011 at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to the Hahira United Methodist Church, 100 East Stanfill Street, Hahira, GA 31632 or the Pearlman Cancer Center, 2501 North Patterson Street, Valdosta, GA. 31602
