Donald Atchison

Donald Atchison, 79, of Leesburg, Florida passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at the Village Rehab Center in Lady Lake, Florida. He was born on December 13, 1937 in Orlando, FL to the late Everette and Omie Atchison. He retired from Georgia Power where he worked in sub-station maintenance. He loved to fish and had a passion for race cars. He raced at the “Thunder Bowl Speedway” for 15 years.
Mr. Atchison is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mrs. Dorothy Atchison of Leesburg, FL and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Memorial services for Mr. Atchison will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services, Valdosta, GA.
