He enjoyed working with crafts and in the yard picking up piney cones with his grandson. He is preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Patterson Butters and brother, Chris.
He is survived by his, Wife, Judy Butters, Hahira, GA; Grandson, Caleb Clark, Hahira, GA; Daughters, Nicky Butters, Indiana, Kim Butters, Indiana; Step Daughters, Donna Clark, Tifton, GA, Dana Pitts, Alabama; Step Sons, D.J. Crow, Alabama, James Crow, Alabama; Parents, Orville Butters & Laverne Coats, Kentucky; Sisters, Dee, Paula, Donna, Lisa & Sherry; Brothers, James, John, Eddie, Bruce, Wade & Bobby; 5 Grandchildren; A number of nieces and nephews
As per his wishes he will be cremated and a private service was held on Sunday, January 16, 2011.
