Donald J. Clements, 82, of Valdosta, GA, formerly of Adrian, MI, died May 17, 2015, at the Langdale Hospice House after a long illness. He was born in Detroit, MI, on July 29, 1932, to the late Nelson and Genevieve Sauve Clements. Mr. Clements served in the US Navy on the USS Rendova during the Korean War. He was a master carpenter and a trusted residential contractor in Michigan for most of his adult life and worked as an estimator for Fingerle Lumber in Ann Arbor, MI, during the last few years of his career. He also enjoyed model trains and flying model airplanes as hobbies. He served as Chaplain of the American Legion, Post 275, in Adrian, MI.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 61 years, Marjorie; children Mark Sharon Clements of Adrian, MI; Karen Steve Seward, of Valdosta, GA; Scott Anne Clements, of Hoboken, NJ. He is also survived by several grandchildren including Joshua Tarah Clements, Travis Rhiannon Sari, Andrew Lauren Clements, Tyler Sarah Sari, Craig Clements, Heidi Clements, Gabrielle Clements, Nathanial Clements; and a brother John Clements, of Bradenton, FL.
