Donald Eugene Horne, Sr. – 84
Of Valdosta passed away Monday, June 24, 2019 in Langdale Hospice House. He was born on April 25, 1935 in Hahira, GA to the late Charlie & Esther Nell (Millirons) Horne. Donald worked as a commercial tire salesman for Goodyear for over 35 years. He was an avid Nascar fan, enjoyed watching sports and spending time with his cat, Sammy Joe. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by son: Junior Horne; daughter: Teresa Ann Selph; brother: Wade “Bo” Horne; sisters: Betty Sue “Teeny” Boykin & Sylvia Cardin Grandson Roy Eugene Radney
Survivors Include: 2 Daughters & Son-in-law: Tammy Maine-Luke of Valdosta, Donna & Ronald Radney, of Valdosta; Son: Scottie Lyle Horne, Hahira; 8 Grandchildren: Jeremy Maine (Jill), Dustin Radney (Courtney), Jamie Horne, Angela Radney, Heather Horne, Samantha Horne, Jaxon & Hayden Radney; Great Grandchildren: Ella Claire & Courson Radney, Harper Everleigh Maine, Kaleb Radney, Kameron & Khole McLeod, Brother & Sister-in-law: Jake & Priscilla Horne, Valdosta; Sister & Brother-in-law: Dorothy & Ken Godwin, Valdosta; Former Spouse and Mother of Children: Beth Smith, Valdosta; Beloved Cat: Sammy Joe.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 27, 2019 in the Valdosta Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following at Friendship Cemetery.
