He was born on August 9, 1942 in Mobile, Alabama to the late James Lester Jones and Grace Catherine (Williams) Jones. Mr. Donnie worked as a Sheet Metal Craftsman for many years and was very talented in his art. He loved any animal but especially dogs, cats and horses.
Survivors include: Daughter, Laura Phelps of Lakeland, Georgia; Granddaughter, Lauren Phelps of Lakeland, Georgia; Grandson, John Phelps of Lakeland, Georgia
