Of Lakeland, GA passed away Saturday, March 7, 2015 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born on July 14, 1961 in Erie Pennsylvania and was the son of Donald Leroy Messenger, Sr. and Barbara Messenger. He received several awards as he worked for Dish Network as a technician for 7 years. He loved his job, along with spending time with his family and friends. He was anticipating the arrival of his first Great Granddaughter. Don was an avid outdoorsman, loved NASCAR and Red Wings hockey. He proudly served as a volunteer fireman while living in Wattsburg, Pennsylvania.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Donald Leroy Messenger, Sr. and Sisters, Tammy Messenger and Cheryl Messenger.

Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, March 11, 2015 in the chapel of Music Funeral Services in Lakeland, GA with cremation after services. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 5PM-7PM at the funeral home. Sympathy may be expressed online at www.musicfuneralservices.com .
