Donald Winston O'Quinn

Donald Winston O’Quinn – 75 of Lakeland, Georgia passed away on Wednesday January 13, 2021 in his home after an illness. Donald was born on March 2, 1945 in Lakeland where he later graduated from. He served in the United States Air Force from 1963-1967. After his service time with the military, he went on to work with the Georgia Forestry Commission where he retired as a pilot. Donald was a hard-working Christian man who loved his wife, children, and grandchildren. He will be remembered for these traits as well as his quick wit and joking nature. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lois (Richardson) and William Jones O’Quinn; grandson, Jackson O’Quinn; siblings: Alton O’Quinn, Willie O. Watson, Elene O. Luke, Jean O. Ingram.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Sylvia K. O’Quinn of Lakeland, GA; Children: Ashley Kyle O’Quinn and fiancé Ginger Butler of Moultrie, GA, Dondi O’Quinn Bargeron of Tifton, GA; Grandchildren: Jake O’Quinn of Baconton, GA, Riley Grace Bargeron of Tifton, GA; Brother, Jones O’Quinn and wife Pat of Lakeland, GA.
The family will see friends from 6-8 PM on Friday January 15, 2021 at the funeral home. Private family services will be held and an entombment will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery.
