Donna Jean Adams

August 30, 1941 — May 19, 2008

Donna Jean Adams, loving wife to Bob L. Adams for 47 years, died on May 19, 2008 and is awaiting the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Donna was born to J. Nelson and Louise R. Fuller on August 30, 1941 in Washington, DC

Donna was preceded in death by her parents Nelson and Louise Fuller.

Donna Jean Adams is survived by her husband Bob; son and daughter-in-law Michael and Marybeth Adams, grandchildren Ryan, Russell, Sarah and David of Augusta; GA, son Timothy, grandchildren Kayla, Trisha and Jeff of Ray City, GA; sister and brother-in-law Janet and Donald Myers of Hagerstown, MD; sister Sandra Fuller of Cottage Grove, MN; brother John Jack Fuller III of Sun Valley, CA. Donna is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A special thank-you to all the doctors, nurses and staff at the Berrien County Hospital for their care and support.


Donna was a Christian mother and an inspiration to all of her family and friends through her endless faith, hard work and dedication. She was an active member and former Sunday School teacher at the Ray City United Methodist Church where she also worked with youth fellowship, Cutler Ridge United Methodist Church in South Miami, FL and State Line United Methodist Church in State Line, PA.

Nursing was her vocation and passion. She graduated from the Washington County School of Nursing in 1962 and retired in 2006 from the Berrien County Hospital after 25 years of service. Donna also loved teaching nurse's aid courses while at Berrien County Hospital.


Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2008 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Music Funeral Services 402 W Main, Lakeland, GA. Funeral will be held Friday May 23, 2008 at the Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church, Gainesboro, VA. Burial will follow service at the Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
