Donnie Lafayette Hunter – 71 born and raised in Valdosta, Georgia passed away on Tuesday April 14, 2020 at Pruitt Health after a lengthy illness. Donnie was born on April 2, 1949 to the late Myrtle (Ray) and Ethridge Hunter. He worked for Langdale Fuel Company as a truck driver for many years until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Sherrie (Drew) Hunter of Valdosta, GA; son, Donnie Hunter, Jr; and step-daughter, Delidia Ervin of Valdosta, GA.
Donnie was cremated and a service will be announced at a later time. The Hunter family is being served by the staff at Music Funeral Services, Valdosta.
He is survived by his wife, Sherrie (Drew) Hunter of Valdosta, GA; son, Donnie Hunter, Jr; and step-daughter, Delidia Ervin of Valdosta, GA.
