He attended Hamburger University in Chicago, IL. This turned into a 24 year career with McDonalds. He continued to work for McDonalds until declining health forced him to retire. He was the Director of Operations.

Graveside Services will be held 11:00AM on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Riverview Memorial Gardens in Valdosta, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday one hour prior to the services. Sympathy may be expressed online at musicfuneralservices.com.
